Benevolence Assistance
The purpose of our Benevolence Funds is to demonstrate God’s love through meeting the needs of individuals facing financial difficulties. Following the Biblical principle of Hebrews 16:13, which encourages us to “not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased,” Beacon Light takes great pride in our responsibility to share our blessings with others.
Benevolence funds are intended to be temporary assistance during time of crisis – a source of last resort – to be used only after individuals requesting assistance have explored and exhausted every possible avenue of help from family, friends, savings, investments, etc.
